Who is Lynda Morley? 

 
A Texas resident for 24 years, Lynda T. Morley has a variety of interests and responsibilities.  A published book reviewer and author of the ever popular Outings and Adventures series, Morley has recently released her 5^th edition: Outings and Adventures Everywhere! (2006, Morley Press, ISBN 0-992888-6-6).  

Morley presents her experiences to parenting groups throughout the Metroplex and conducts tours of interesting sites to grandparents and their grandchildren as part of the Medical Center of Plano’s Grandparent Adventures program.  She has written and taught summer camp programs for both SMU and the Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation, Inc., as well as her own Tom Sawyer Adventures.  In addition, Morley is a regular contributor to several local publications.

 
A former elementary substitute teacher for the Plano Independent School District (PISD), Morley founded the Bethany Bluebonnet Book Club and served as discussion leader and book reviewer, created a special second grade archaeology program, and assisted teachers in the classroom and off-site learning. 

Currently, she is the Director of Education for the Heritage Farmstead Museum and responsible for developing and leading children’s programs, summer camps and coordinating the myriad of tours; school, public, special group, and scout that are conducted on the historic site.

 
Morley is a community volunteer, a member of Custer Road United Methodist Church, the Heritage Farmstead Museum, The Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation, Inc., and The National Preservation Trust. 

 
Instead of dusting, she can be found at her computer putting the final touches on her newest soon-to-be-published children’s fiction work: The White Pair with Colorful Dinosaurs.

 
Lynda Morley is a wife, author, speaker and full time parent to two teenage children, Andrew and Sarah.
