Camp Summit is a "sleep away" camp for children and adults with
disabilities. We offer weeklong camp sessions during spring break,
summer and fall months as well as weekend sessions and respite days.
Campers are offered a wide variety of traditional camp activities in our
barrier-free environment all of which are adapted for our campers'
abilities and not limited to their disabilities.

This fundamentals camp is for special needs children that are mentally challenged. It is not designed for the physically handicapped. Participants must be identified by an agency or professional as having one of the following:1) Intellectual Disabilities [Mental Retardation]2) Closely related development disability, which means having functional limitations in both general learning and in adaptive skills such as recreation, work, independent living, self-direction or self-care.
